First iPhone Commercial for Verizon

Here it is, right from Verizon Wireless' YouTube account. So how long have you been waiting? Do you think you'll switch to the other side, or stick with AT&T? In any event, this is great for Apple and Verizon. iPhone will dominate Android for sure now.

BlackBerry PlayBook - Possibly an iPad killer!

This device looks pretty slick! Multitasking, dual camera, Full Flash browser, BlackBerry Messanger, the list goes on and on. Could it be a possible iPad killer? I know the fron facing camera is a plus in my book! What do you think?

[APPLE] Store update!

Today Apple updated and added several new things to it's online store. One of the new items was the previously mysterious Magic Trackpad ($69) which allows, well you've guessed it, your desktop Mac to have a multitouch trackpad that is similar to the MacBook Pro. Apple also introduced it's highly rechargeable, reusable, and environmentally friendly AA batteries and charging kit. Apple has retuned the iMac and it's overdue Mac Pro. They both get a processor speed bump, but no new aesthetics. The Mac Pro now offers a 12 Core Processor and new graphics card for the hefty price of $4999 (although if you're a avid designer, developer, movie maker, or pro user it's probably worth it.) The low-end iMac now sports an Intel Core i3 processor and higher end graphics card. Apple also introduced a new Cinema Display like it's 24" LED brother; the new display is now 27" for $999. Overall Apple added several needed improvements to it's already amazing products and added some great new products. I see the Magic Trackpad being used by many people with the Mac mini. The Mac mini is a great home theater hub and now people can get rid of a mouse and keep the Magic Trackpad on the coffe table for use.

I can't wait to head over to the Apple store to check out (and maybe pick up) the Magic Trackpad,

[APPLE] Mac mini: Unibody design, HDMI, and more

Media_httpimagesapple_oddxz

Today, Apples slyly introduced a new Mac mini. It sports a unibody design, HDMI out, SD card slot, removable bottom, improved graphics card, energy efficient and the power brick is gone. Overall it seems like an awesome upgrade, although the price was bumped an extra $100 (which is actually not that bad).

So now that the Mac mini supports HDMI out, what's the point of Apple TV? I mean, even Apple promotes a picture of the Mac mini connecting to your TV. You can download movies and music from iTunes and play them on FronRow, which is a similar application to AppleTV. Sure, Apple TV is a lot cheaper, but why not throw in the extra money and get a full functioning computer for your HD TV?

[APPLE] iOS: Calculator Icons

Media_httpwwwmacenste_tgidw

So many of you have probably wondered why Apple changes the Calculator icon in every major iPhone OS (iOS) release. Well, only Apple truly knows, but here is a good reason why the iOS 3 Calc icon changed in iOS 4. You know that neat new feature called Folders? Well if you notice the Calculators icon in iOS 3 you see that is closely, if not exactly, resembles a Folder on iOS 4. With the white border and textured background it might be hard for SOME PEOPLE (definitely not everyone) to distinguish. As for the original iOS to iOS 2, you've got me clueless as to why they would change the design of the icon. Maybe it was because they used the calculator icon as a representation of what a Folder icon would look like in the future; and the future is now, with iOS 4 and Folders.

[APPLE] iPad - It's already a revolution and it's only just begun!

Here is the new iPad commercial that aired tonight (May 12, 2010)

This form of commercial from Apple is quite different from the Get a Mac commercials, the iPod commercials, and the iPhone commercials. It's much more personal and colorful.

It's way better than the first iPad commercial that aired during the Oscars. http://techgulp.posterous.com/apple-ipad-commercial-released-during-oscars

[GOOGLE] New Layout and Redesigned Logo for Google

Today, Google released a new layout and logo. It was previously in beta and could only be accessed by putting a javascript code into the URL bar.

Overall, it has a much cleaner and refined look.

Post your thoughts about it.
